Cod Report 1-16-11

Cod reports back to the shop have been good. The Shinnecock boats have done well and the Montauk boats have done great. The bite in the dark seems to be a bit lighter than the day bite with plenty of doggies on the bait. Jigs have been the better producer of late. Most fish are at market size and limits are the norm with boats limiting out by 9am. The shop is open all winter Thurs-Mon with all your cod jigs, rigs, rods & reels on hand.
