The cod action continues out of Shinnecock and Montauk. The bite seems to have slowed slightly but turns right back on to lock and load fishing. Fish over the 20lb mark have been reported as I write this report. When weather permits make sure to get out and reap the rewards of some great fishing.
On a separate subject I'm happy to report the birth of my son and new fishing buddy, Scott James, born on Jan 31st and coming in at 5lbs. 13oz on the scale
