REPORT 3/28/11

The shop will be stocked and ready for the flounder opener on Friday with worms, clam chum and mussels. I did hear from a few local baymen that there are a few flounder around in Shinnecock as well as some bunker. Had reports of the 1st bass of the season being caught, good news it won't be long now. Beginning April 1st we will be open 7 days and opening at 7am weekedays and 6am on the weekends. On the cod front things have again picked up after the moon. Some of the boats have been moving back west and hauling to get ready for the spring run so be sure to call ahead before heading out.
