Reports are filtering in, cod has been hot and cold off of Block and the south shore. The catch and release of sea bass and blackfish continues. The ling bite has been decent along the south shore. Have heard of bass just west of Moriches under the mackerel and herring schools.
A few reports of bunker have made it back to the shop from the area around Indian island. Osprey have been spotted with bunker in their talons' as well.
The herring are moving in and out of Shinnecock with reports of other bait too. The shop is now open 7 days with our sale of 20% off most everything in the store running until the end of the month. Be sure to drop off your gear for service, it's going to be an early start this year so don't procrastinate, get your gear ready.
